A log cabin built in 1876 by "Buckskin" Johnny Spaulding has been restored and now sits on the grounds of the Tr-State Museum in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. Spaulding had a uniquely adventurous life, even for someone pioneering the American West during the 1860s and 1870s.
