A major campaign is underway to save a historic home featured in the 1933 World's Fair.
More than 80 years ago, at the height of the Great Depression, Chicago hosted the Century of Progress, a celebration of Chicago’s centennial as well as a showcase for rapidly changing technology. And among the many exhibits were an array of futuristic homes, some of which still survive. Preservationists are now launching an ambitious campaign to save one of them.
