How crisis intervention program works in Bergen County

Hundreds of people have been trained to help de-escalate mental health crises
A program that provides mental health care to residents in need is proving to be a success in Bergen County. Care Plus New Jersey has been working with law enforcement and community leaders for several years to develop a crisis intervention team. To date, the facility has trained more than 600 people to help de-escalate mental health situations and provide proper treatment.
