The missing pair of jeans is found, and Strautmanis initiates an investigation at the hospital. Fyodorov becomes suspicious. Maris is determined to be the first to uncover the origin of the jeans. Renars is released from the hospital for one day to help Maris gather information. Vilis discovers something that causes him to question Renars' honesty.
