A world of curiosities and surprises, where, every day, creatures big and small bite off more than they can chew.
(pea-rexes growling) Join us as we follow the adventures of Ginger, a young tricarrotops, and her unlikely little friends, three baby pea-rexes, Wasabi, Split, and Minty, as they discover the many wonders that exist in this vast valley!
- Woohoo!
This is Ginger and the "Vegesaurs"!
(gentle music) Winter in the valley can be a very peaceful time.
- [Ginger] This is so fun.
Woo!
- [Narrator] Unless you've never been to the snow before.
- Oh yeah.
It's like being hugged by a cloud, a really cold one.
(Ginger giggles) (snowball splats) Hey!
(Pea-Rexes laugh) - [Narrator] Playing games not only keeps them entertained, it also keeps them warm.
(Ginger laughing) (foreboding music) - Okay.
Gimme all you've got.
Huh?
(creature groans) Whoa!
- [Narrator] It's a baby Kiwimammuthus.
These creatures spend their winter underground in a deep sleep called hibernation, but this baby has woken up a whole season too early.
- Hi there.
We're sorry if we woke you.
We were just kicking snowballs at each other.
You're welcome to join.
(Kiwimammuthus grunts) (Ginger and Pea-Rexes laugh) Oh, game on.
(gentle music) (Ginger and Pea-Rexes laugh) (gentle music continues) (Kiwimammuthus scrapes) Whoa!
(suspenseful music) Let's go.
(Pea-Rexes chattering) Woo hoo.
(majestic music) Oh, look out.
Ah!
(vegesaurs crash) That was so fun.
Again?
Left, right, left, right, left, right.
Huh?
(creatures snoring) Ooh, listen.
I think there's a whole family of them.
We must have woken this one up too early.
(Kiwimammuthus snores) We need to get it back to its burrow.
(Ginger clears throat) Wakey wakey.
(Kiwimammuthus snores) (Pea-Rexes chatter) No, no, no, no, no.
(vegesaurs groan) Whoa!
Yoohoo.
(Kiwimammuthus grunts) Up here.
(whimsical music) Thanks.
We need to get her to the top before she falls asleep again.
How about you lead the way?
(Kiwimammuthus grunts) Yeah, that's the way.
Up we go.
Come on.
You got it.
(Kiwimammuthus groans) Well done.
That was fun.
(Pea-Rexes yawn) (Kiwimammuthus yawns) No, no, no.
It's still a few more steps.
(gentle music) Sleepy time.
Great job team.
Wait, where's Wasabi?
(gentle music) (Pea-Rexes laugh) Ready?
Promise to keep quiet.
(Pea-Rexes whisper) (upbeat music) - They'll come back to visit their friend next season after it's had a nice long sleep.
(gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) - [Narrator] The Pumpkinsaurus can be found in the Spooky Forest.
- Good to see you too, my orange friend.
- [Narrator] They are naturally stubborn creatures but can be drawn out of their shell with a good hearty laugh.
The Spooky Forest is home to many of the valley's most exotic and delectable blooms, which the Pumpkinsaurus guard with all their might.
They have an inner glow that gets brighter the happier they are.
- [Narrator] It's the late Crunchiest period, when the world was dominated by the juiciest and freshest creatures ever to rule the planet, the mighty "Vegesaurs"!
(gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) - (yawning) I love my bed.
(Minty snoring) (playful music) - Boo!
- Ah!
- [Narrator] It's a mandarinteryx.
(playful music) - Whoa.
(playful music) That's a lot of holes.
(playful music) (pea-rexes digging) It must be digging for a reason.
Hey, are you looking for something?
Because if you are, we can help you find it.
(playful music) - Boo!
- [Narrator] For the mandarinteryx, the need to dig is second nature.
The question is, what's it digging for?
- Hmm.
Oh.
- Oh, you think it's looking for food.
Now that we can help with.
(playful music) (mandarinteryx grunting) (playful music) Okay, maybe something sweeter?
(playful music) Yummy drops are so delicious.
(playful music) You wanna try one?
(playful music) - Boo!
- If it doesn't want this delicious honeysuckle, we'll know for sure that it's not hungry.
- Yeah.
- Here you go, the good stuff, better than anything you'll find in the whole valley.
Okay, definitely not hungry.
- [Narrator] Despite Ginger and the baby pea-rexes' best efforts, This mandarinteryx has other things on its mind.
- It seems like it needs something, but what?
(dramatic music) Oh no!
It's gonna pull my bed apart!
(dramatic music) (gentle music) Oh, you're tired.
You're totally welcome to take my super comfy bed.
I'll just make myself another one.
(playful music) Maybe our new friend will move on tomorrow, after it's had some rest.
Huh?
What is that?
- Huh?
(playful music) - [Narrator] It's another mandarinteryx.
- What even are those things?
Some kind of pip?
Oh, that's what you want, holes for your pips.
That's it!
The other one was digging holes, and this one's looking for them.
We need these two to meet.
Minty, Split, Wasabi, get digging.
(pea-rexes digging) - Boo!
(pea-rexes giggling) (playful music) - Boo!
- Yes, now lead the way home.
(pea-rexes exclaiming) (dramatic music) That's it, all the way to my bed.
(dramatic music) Where'd it go?
(playful music) Phew!
Hey, friend, I've got someone you should meet.
- Boo!
(mandarinteryx digging) (playful music) - It's okay.
Come on, don't be shy.
(dramatic music) Oh, okay.
(dramatic music) Oh, wow!
I can't watch!
(dramatic music) - [Narrator] One mandarinteryx digs a hole, the other plants a seed.
- Boo!
- Boo!
(gentle music) - Aw, look at them, a job well done.
(Ginger yawning) (gentle music) (Minty snoring) Hey, shove over a little.
Tomorrow's mission, make a bigger bed.
(Ginger giggling) (gentle orchestral music) (exciting music) - Let's sing a song together!
