Jen Giattino leaves behind her husband and three children

Hoboken City Council President Jen Giattino died suddenly at 52 years old, leaving the community and her family in disbelief. Giattino was first elected in 2011 on then Mayor Dawn Zimmer’s ticket. She has been reelected ever since, aside from a year-break when she attempted a bid for the mayor’s seat in 2017.
