The more we explored, the more we found.
And in the last day of the excavation that was was planned, we got a full skull and life position with full ivory and that was pretty heady stuff.
That particular discovery got National Geographic Society and Earthwatch funding for us for the following year and we began to attack this in a more professional operation.
We had funding finally.
