The Chicago River has more species of fish than ever before, but they could be in danger.

In the 1980s, there were just five fish species found in the Chicago River — one of them, a goldfish. Fast forward to today and the goldfish now has more than 60 other species accompanying them in the river, mostly thanks to a decrease in wastewater pollutants. But biologists warn all that hard work could disappear. WTTW News reporter Patty Wetli joins us now to explain.
