Police have taken an active role in educating the community about the dangers of COVID-19.

Dover is only 2.2-square miles but ranks second in Morris County for positive COVID-19 cases, coming in just behind the much larger township of Parsippany. The mostly Latino community faces greater health risks from the virus, so the police department has taken to the streets, educating community members and handing out face masks to anyone who needs one.
