Gov. Murphy indicated he’s not yet on board with ending ban on self-serve gas

The rising price of crude oil is forcing New Jersey drivers to pay more for gas. According to AAA, the average price for regular gas in the state is now $3.89 per gallon, an increase of 26 cents in the last week and more than a dollar higher than this time last year. Industry advocates believe reversing a decades-old ban on drivers pumping their own gas could lower costs.
