New Jersey voters are setting records by heading to the polls early so far a whopping 88,000 voters have already cast their ballots 61,000 were cast by mail the remaining 247,000 votes were cast this weekend at early in-person polling locations that opened around the state on Saturday and in just the first day of voting more voters showed up to the polls than all early in-person voters in the 2023 election Governor Murphy and first lady Tammy Murphy were among them now diving deeper into who is showing up our early analysis of the in-person voters shows that they're pretty closely split between registered Democrats and Republicans with Dems coming in close to 94,000 and Republicans around 91,000 now about 60,000 were unaffiliated voters which is likely where this election will be decided if you'd like to cast a vote remotely tomorrow October 29th is the deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot and to find early polling locations near you visit vote nj.gov [Music]
