Profile of Alexei Ratmansky, artist-in-residence at the American Ballet Theatre

Alexei Ratmansky is one of the most in demand choreographers working in the world of ballet, but for four months this spring, he calls American Ballet Theatre home. He is a classicist and an innovator at the same time. His deep understanding of music and the language of ballet brings a new vitality to dance; but his greatest gift is his ability to bring out the best in his dancers.
