Jazz at Lincoln Center performances on October 14th and 15th.

On October 14th and 15th, Jazz at Lincoln Center will honor the centennials of Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Mongo Santamaria, and Thelonious Monk through concerts in Rose Theater. On the same dates, in The Appel Room, the program “Letters To Mother Africa” will be featuring Cuban-born pianist and composer Elio Villafranca and a stellar group of musicians and vocalists.
