Ski Club with Chicago Roots Sends Three Skiers to Olympics
Clip: 1/27/2022 | 4m 16sVideo has Closed Captions
We visit an area club that's sending three ski-jumpers to the winter Olympics.
There are only four members of the 2022 U.S. Olympic men’s ski-jumping team competing in Beijing this winter. And three of those Olympians trained at a historic club just 40 miles northwest of Chicago. We visited the Norge Ski Club in Fox River Grove to meet some high-flying athletes with nerves — and legs — of steel.
