Top transition officials knew Flynn was talking to Russia

The White House said Michael Flynn independently conversed with Russia during the presidential transition, but a report in The New York Times says that account conflicts with internal emails. A note from transition advisor K.T. McFarland, forwarded to six top officials, stated that Flynn was talking to the Russian ambassador. Sharon LaFraniere, who co-wrote the story, joins Hari Sreenivasan.
