So far, 22 candidates are vying for seven council seats
It’s the first time that the election will be held in November, moved from May, and at least 22 candidates have taken out petitions to run for the seven council seats up for grabs. Many residents say the city government is dysfunctional. The city council is four months behind voting on a budget or even agreeing on a seventh council member to fill a vacancy, among many other things.
