State seeks money to restore natural resources damaged on Ramapough Lenape Nation's land
New Jersey is filing a lawsuit against Ford Motor Company, saying they knowingly polluted and contaminated a site known as Ringwood Mines in Passaic County. Ringwood Mines sits in a neighborhood that’s home to members of the Ramapough Lenape Nation’s Turtle Clan. In a statement, Ford said they are working with the state and federal authorities.
