the Navy's taken responsibility for failures in its Navy SEAL training course that led to the death of New Jersey native Kyle Mullen last year details of those failures across multiple systems were released in a report this week that showed instructors were often ill-trained for their roles and left candidates quote at high risk of serious injury to make matters worse Navy medical staff were unprepared and under-responsive in critical situations like mullen's case who was suffering with pneumonia and unable to breathe yet was denied medical treatment the report also highlighted the pervasive use of performance-enhancing drugs by candidates trying to graduate the Navy ordered the report in September and says it's now making changes to the course and to its leadership some may be prosecuted although no penalties have been announced mullen's mother Regina Mullen is calling for a court-martial of the Seals training course Commander [Music] [Music]
