Nursing home has until August 15 to improve quality of care
The troubled nursing home Woodland Behavioral and Nursing Center will avoid closure for now. A spokesperson for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) told NJ Spotlight News that its 450 residents are no longer in “immediate jeopardy” and the nursing home now has until August 15 to improve quality of care for its residents or it will get cut off from federal funding.
