For the past 106 years, policy debate has been apart of the high school debate format in South Dakota. While the activity of debate itself is still active and well in the Mt. Rushmore State, it has seen its fair share of changes over the years. One big difference that debaters may see next year in South Dakota is the departure of policy debate all together.
