for non-disabled people and disabled people, obviously, it is my love letter to the disability community.
But equally, I really wanted it to be eye-opening for non-disabled audiences.
My goal really was just to humanize disabled people with this film.
I really wanted the audience to feel my experience, my experience of existing in this unusual body and my experience of ableism.
Disability is definitely having a moment at the moment.
People are talking about it in the film industry, for example, which is obviously a really positive thing.
But for so long we have been completely left out of conversations about diversity and stuff and I think that's why it's just a really vital film.
